Sony HXR-NX5R este o camera video prosumer care dispune de un sistem de captare a imaginii format din trei senzori Exmor CMOS de 1/2.8, fiind capabil sa inregistreze imagini spectaculoase chiar si in situatii de iluminare redusa. Noul NX5R integreaza solutii de ultima ora, oferind filme Full-HD progressive 1080p/1080i/720p captate cu ajutorul unui sistem cu 3 senzori CMOS Exmor Full HD de 1/2.8. Fiecare senzor are o rezolutie de 2.07 megapixeli si un aspect 16:9, captand cate o singura culoare, rosu, albastru si respectiv verde, avand astfel o gama dinamica mai larga si o sensibilitate mult mai buna. Dotata cu leduri deasupra obiectivului, camera confera o mai buna luminozitate in locurile intunecoase. Integreaza sistem Wi-Fi, NFC, FTP care permite trimiterea filmarii in timp real direct catre redactor usurand foarte mult munca de post-productie. Aceasta camera are un obiectiv Sony G Lens cu un zoom optic de 20X si Clear Image Zoom de 40x excelent pentru inregistrarile sportive, spectacole, documentare, reportaje, ce necesita folosirea cadrelor mai apropiate.
